Remember to use the @google drive or @google docs plugin (try both, the answers change based on the use cases) in every message. If you don't use it even though you are in the same chat, the responses will not be linked to your dataset.

Furthermore, the answers depend on the type of question. Try asking for context on keywords and then expand to more generic questions. Also remember that it handles doc files well but it has more difficulty with PDFs.
